Realty Executives Launch Mentoring Program
The exclusive Realty Executives Launch Mentoring Program is designed with a singular intent: To equip newly licensed agents to become experts as quickly as possible and close six transactions in the shortest time possible. The program includes regular classes filled with content designed to guide you on the practical steps of acquiring and converting leads quickly and efficiently as well as navigating the contract process. In addition to having access to a team to support your career, you will also work one-on-one with a mentor who is very experienced and has a successful track record of their own. These mentors work with you regularly to help you build your business as well as support you in the day to day activities that agents engage in.

While deciding which brokerage to join a few years ago, the main thing I was looking for was some hands on guidance. I spoke with Pat Harfst about the mentor/mentee program that Realty Executives offered to all new agents. That fact that there were in-person classes and hands on learning was fantastic. You learn at an easy pace and there is always a broker to answer any of those rookie questions that come up in the field.
Fast forward a few years and now I am a Mentor to two agents working on their first few sales.
They know they can call anytime and get help. I also learned how much I like being a Coach.
As a new agent, and recent graduate of the Arizona School of Business & Real Estate, I was fortunate to align myself with Realty Executives and their highly rated Executives Mentorship Program.
Mentorship was a key component I sought out when interviewing close to two dozen brokerage firms in the greater Phoenix area. The Mentorship training was thorough and encouraging as it provided connections with our affiliated business partners, fellow Realtors, and our beyond supportive staff.
My Mentor, Jessica Dembrosky, inspired me to go beyond my comfort zone, measure my progress and to exceed expectations at every turn. I thoroughly enjoyed the program and was awarded “Rookie of the Year” for my first year at Realty Executives.

A Word from our Director of Executive Development and Lead Mentor Pat Harfst
“Why is mentoring so important? This question comes up now & then…Many newly licensed folks believe that they can just go out and learn the ropes by paying attention to the more successful folks in their office. They can watch YouTube videos. They can sit in on webinars. While these approaches CAN work, they leave out the raw fact that this business is tough, and learning by making mistakes is expensive. The best parallel I can find is learning to fly aircraft. There is ground school, and then there is actual cockpit time – flying! BUT, no one flies ON THEIR OWN at first – there is always an instructor pilot along, at least through the initial part of the learning curve, and then again at various points prior to a student actually getting their license.
Same with real estate – the public expects / demands perfection in all that we do…That is where a good mentor comes in. What we do then is BE THERE for the friction points on the learning process. Over the years that I have been a mentor here at Realty Executives, I’ve watched a number of talented folks come into the business, learn the basics by going through the mentoring program, and then take off a fly high! In the past three years, the company Rookie of the Year has always been a graduate of our Mentoring Program. Ana Benitez, Michelle West, and Vikki Gorman… All came to us with impeccable “people skills”. All we had to do was add the “technical skills” that are unique to the industry, and watch them all fly high. I often joke with mentees that this business is easy, and hard, at the same time. Each little “thing” we do for clients is easy… But, when there are 300 “little things” to do, and then space them out over a period of time, the goal becomes hard. Like counting to 100. Easy to do if you just race through the numbers. If the rule is that you wait 10 minutes between each number, and never miss one, the task is nearly impossible. Try it!
Mentoring is not for everyone. Some really talented, successful Realtors would make poor mentors. It’s just not something that they have inside them. For this of us who love watching new licensees “fly high”, mentoring is extremely satisfying.
School is in session!”
